AMY
Amy Foster (Verschuuren) is the founder of The Speech Space. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is certified by Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
After completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in linguistics and psychology at Queen's University in 2015, Amy earned a Master's of Health Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto in 2017. Since graduating, she has accumulated a wide range of experience working with both children and adults in school board, school-based rehabilitation and private practice settings.

A passionate SLP with a keen interest in literacy, Amy enjoys working with individuals of all ages, and with a variety of communication challenges.


VIBUSA
Vibusa is a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) at The Speech Space. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree at McMaster University in Life Sciences and then went on to complete her graduate certificate at Durham College to become a Communicative Disorders Assistant in 2020.
Vibusa has experience working and volunteering with children and adults over the past few years. While completing her placement at Grandview Children's Center, Vibusa worked with preschool and school-age children and their families to help them improve a range of communication skills, including articulation, language, cognitive communication, and executive functioning. Vibusa loves creating new and interactive therapy materials that she can both use in-person and virtually.
Vibusa is able to work with families in both English and Tamil.
VANESSA
Vanessa is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is certified by Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
Vanessa earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Linguistics from Brock University, followed by a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed) degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Buffalo State, obtaining certificates of excellence for both academic and clinical achievements. Her clinical experience includes consultation, assessment, and treatment of a wide range of areas of speech and language with both children and adults. She has provided communication services in school board, acute care, short-term and long-term rehabilitation, private practice, and children's treatment centre settings.
Vanessa thoroughly enjoys providing speech and language services alongside clients and their families and looks forward to working with you!


DENISE
Denise is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
Denise obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour, specializing in Music Cognition at McMaster University. She then obtained her Master of Health Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto.
Denise is experienced in providing family-centered assessment and intervention in the areas of cognitive communication disorders, articulation, motor speech disorders, fluency, literacy, developmental language, and social communication skills.
Denise speaks English and conversational Cantonese.
MEGAN
Megan is a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) at The Speech Space. She is a member of the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC).
Megan holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Language Sciences from Brock University and graduated with honours from the Communicative Disorders Assistant Certificate Program at St.Lawrence College.
Megan has diverse experience working with children and is passionate about helping them achieve their communication goals. She tailors each therapy session to her clients' interests, keeping them engaged and motivated. Megan also places a strong emphasis on a family-centred approach, actively involving parents and caregivers throughout the therapy process.
Megan is fluent in English and has Level One training in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
